Kansas City, Missouri police investigating double fatal shooting



Kansas City, Missouri police are investigating after two people were killed Sunday afternoon. Sunday afternoon, around 2:30 p.m., police say officers were called to the area of 38th Street and Garfield on the sound of shots fire.At the scene, officers were directed to two male shooting victims who were unresponsive in front of a residence. EMS declared the two unresponsive victims deceased here at the scene. A third victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. They have not released any further information about the victims or a possible suspect. Detectives and crime scene investigators are canvassing for witnesses and processing the scene for evidence.Authorities say they are working now to determine the identities of the shooting victims as well as what led up to the shooting.If anyone has any information, they are asked to contact the Homicide Unit directly at 816-234-5043 or the TIPS Hotline anonymously at 816-474-TIPS.
